反復して針を刺す行為を通して、布の上に時間の痕跡を積層しています。
言葉では捉えきれない感覚に対し、刺した後に残る確かさを拠り所としながら、行為そのものを持続しています。

こぎん刺しの技法を用いていますが、作品は特定の意味や物語を説明するものではありません。行為によって沈降した時間が、静かに現前する場として立ち上がります。本シリーズでは、複数の作品が空間に並ぶことで透過や影の差異が生まれ、鑑賞者は時間の層を通過します。

透ける布を用いる本シリーズにおいて、裏表は同等です。とりわけ裏面の糸処理は労働の痕跡を可視化し、本来不可視であった時間を顕在化させます。

制作は長い年月を要し、現在も継続中です。途切れながら持続する時間は、個人的経験を超えて、社会の構造そのものと重なり合います。布上に現れる美しさは、効率や生産性を基準とする世界に対する、静かな抵抗でもあるのです。

Through the repetitive act of inserting the needle, I layer traces of time onto the surface of cloth. In response to sensations that cannot be fully grasped in words, I rely on the tangible certainty that remains after each stitch, sustaining the act itself.

Although I employ the technique of kogin embroidery, the works do not seek to explain specific meanings or narratives. Time, sedimented through repeated gestures, emerges quietly as a site of presence. When multiple works from the series are installed together, differences in transparency and shadow arise within the space, and viewers move through layers of time.

In this series, which uses translucent fabric, front and back are of equal importance. The treatment of threads on the reverse side, in particular, makes visible the traces of labor, rendering perceptible a duration that would otherwise remain unseen.

The process of making requires many years and continues to this day. Time that persists intermittently, though interrupted, overlaps with the very structures of society beyond personal experience. The beauty that appears on the cloth becomes a quiet resistance to a world governed by efficiency and productivity.
